Demo Builder is an application used to create interactive Flash movies that show how applications and systems work.

Demo Builder offers a system that allows users to take a series of editable screen captures of a target application in order to produce Flash simulations and interactive demonstrations of the application.

Demo Builder gives users complete control over each element that makes up their movie, making it easy to modify, edit and update.

Output files can be exported as flash (SWF) files or as executable (EXE) files and Demo Builder has an inbuilt functionality that exports output files via email, to disk or upload via FTP and can export flash files with an HTML wrapper.

The end result is high quality demos/tutorials that can effortlessly be made available on the web, on CD or through email, enabling businesses, organizations and individuals alike to visually communicate software help, tutor users on new software and systems and provide e-learning capabilities for their applications and systems.

Demo Builder works by taking a series of screenshots of a running application. It records the actions being taken on the application and so is able to demonstrate a simulation of these actions.

Each screenshot taken by Demo Builder constitutes a Frame that can then be edited to suit your required demo/tutorial.

After recording running application and actions taken on application, the movie can be elaborated by adding Objects and visual aids and manipulating the time sequencing for frames, objects and visual aids in the Editing Window.

The user interface has been redesigned to provide greater ease-of-use and better functionality.
· Zoom-n-Pan allows you to zoom in a specific area of your scene in order to focus the viewer's attention on that area or to show specific details.
· Flash Video files add realism and depth to your movies. You can insert FLV files so that they play from any scene in your movie.
· Automatically fit the screen capture to the active window.
· A new balloon style, "custom" has been added in version 7 which allows you to fully customize a balloon in terms of color and shape.
· Place a "Continue" button on a balloon and/or note. The movie will be paused, allowing the viewer to read the content of the balloon and/or note and to continue playing only when this button is clicked.
· Now you can align the playerbar to top or bottom.
· Add a Play button at the beginning of your movie. The movie will start playing only when you click the Play button.
· Add a Replay button at the end of the movie and the viewer can play the movie again with one click.
· New transitions per scene have been added: Dissolve, Newsflash
· Execute JavaScript in a web browser. This option assumes you're publishing to HTML/SWF.
· Now you can insert PNG images with alpha transparency and transparent/animated GIF files.
· Customize the click and double-click effect by selecting the color, adjusting the radius and enabling/disabling the sound effect.
· The Timeline has been improved.
